Destination Atlantis, Bahamas' paradise

Discover the Bahama Islands and Atlantis,
the brand new theme resort on Paradise Island
T

he Bahamas are an archipelago of 700 islands within easy sailing distance from the Florida coast. Discovered in 1492 by Christopher Columbus, they were first occupied by Lucayen Indians. They were also an ideal hiding place for pirates, of which you still hear legends about their undiscovered treasures. The islands were under Spanish control, then English before becoming independent on the July 10, 1973 and are now a member of the Commonwealth.

Royal Towers

The Bahamas have a temperate tropical climate, ideal year-round for sailing, fishing, golfing, diving, etc. Atlantis, the fantastic amusement park, is located thirty minutes from the airport of the capital Nassau on Paradise Island-one of thirty peopled islands out of 700.

The theme of the resort is the legend of the Atlantide. You will be totally immersed in a wild and authentic world of a tropical jungle and a water paradise. Excessiveness is the key word at Atlantis, which hosts the biggest ocean aquarium in the world, with more than 10 million liters of salt water, 20,000 species of the rarest of fish and a huge tunnel under the lagoon for observing fauna. One of the most famous attractions is an Indiana Jones-like suspension bridge. The Royal Towers, the smartest of the three resort hotels, resembles a fortress on water, with impressive moats and an interior art gallery. Everything is conceived to amaze you.
The Atlantis truly is a world apart.
